Description
Waqrapukara, an archaeological complex was built during the time
pre_inca and Inca by the qanchi ethnic group, during the paqarimup period
runas, approximately 3000 BC, about 4, 140 meters above sea level and at becoming a qanchi regional state, encompassing up to the current territories of the canchis province and part of quispicanchis, strategically uniting the Apurimac Valley and the Altiplano of pomacanchis.

Itinerary
- The tour begins with the pick up from the hotel at 05:00 am and then heading south from Cusco to Chuquicahuana we will turn off for the Province of Acomayo, on the way we will appreciate the Laguna de Pomacanchi (The second largest lagoon in the region) makes a stop.
- Continuing with the tour we will arrive at the community of Sangarará where we will have breakfast, and then continue to the open from where we will start the walk to Waqrapukara for 2 hours approx.
- During this walk, we will be able to appreciate a great amount of flora and typical fauna of the area, in the site of Waqrapukara we will have a visit guided by the following sectors: INTIPUNKU Puerta del Sol, Plaza the main tower, towers, terraces, Wiracocha enclosure, and paintings cave.
- After the visit to Waqrapukara, we will begin with the return to Sangarará to have our delicious lunch, finally, we will be of return to Cuzco.
- Arrival in Cusco at 18:30 approx.
