Itinerary
Visit Day (Cusco – Pacchanta – 7 Lagoons – Pacchanta – Cusco):
• We will start the tour to the 7 Lagunas de Ausangate from its pick up from the hotel in the city of Cusco, we begin your journey to the community from Pacchanta for 6 hours, and we will appreciate high Andean landscapes like its flora and fauna. In Pacchanta we will have our breakfast of the area, a short break for our guide to explain a little more of our adventure.
• After breakfast we will get ready to start the walk through the 7 lagoons of Ausangate. The route is about 7.5 km for 5 hours on foot. We will visit the lagoons of Azulqocha, Otorongo, Puqacocha, Alqacocha, Qomercocha and Patacocha. Also, we will be able to appreciate the dazzling mountains like the Ausangate (6,834 masl), Mariposa (5,842 m.a.s.l), Jampa (5,500 masl), Pucapunta (5,740 masl), Caracol (5,625 masl), Tinke (5,300 m.a.s.l.).
• During the journey we will see native birds of the area, alpacas, llamas, many vizcachas, and with luck the Andean condor. At the end of the circuit, we will return to enjoy a comforting lunch in the Pacchanta community. Then we will take a break in the medicinal hot springs of the place, and thus you can relax as well as recover energy after this incredible experience in the Andes.
• This incredible adventure of the Ausangate tour of 7 lagoons will end, arriving in the city of Cusco around 7:00 p.m.

Pacchanta altitude: 4,200 meters above sea level (13,779 feet).

Itinerary by hours
- 04:00 / 04:30 hrs: Pick up from the hotel or accommodation, downtown Cusco.
- 05:00 hrs: Departure and transfer by bus to the community of Pacchanta.
- 08:00 hrs: Arrival at Pacchanta, breakfast, and recess.
- 08:40 hrs: Start of the walk to the 7 Lagunas del Ausangate. Walk and visit the 7 lagoons, incredible views of snow-capped mountains, and nature that surrounds them.
- 10:45 am: Visit the last lagoon from 4,650 masl.
- 11:20 a.m.: Descent to the starting point, Community of Pacchanta
- 13:30 hrs: Rest, and enjoy the medicinal hot springs of Pacchanta.
- 14:30 hrs: Free time for lunch (included).
